Gunn Beanie in Cardinal

Looking for some new sh*t that is both versatile and bold? Let us introduce you to the Gunn Beanie. The statement you can make with a great beanie like this one can be both loud or subtle, it all depends on your personal preference. With its unique stitch and default fom-fom, which is detachable and available for additional purchase in other colors, this hat provides you with the option to add your own pinch of flair. Additionally, its soft, cozy merino wool shows that this hat has more to offer than just looks—it has the comfort and warmth necessary to make it through winter on bleak sidewalks or cruising down the slopes of your favorite mountain. Whoever said you couldn’t be both fashionable and warm clearly never owned a Gunn Beanie.

Our original and unique hats are designed individually by our CKO (Chief Knitting Officer) and are then brought to life by a group of talented women in Lima, Peru.  Many of these women are amazing mothers who can WFH (work from home) while taking care of their children. Since knitting is a mobile activity which can be done just about anywhere, these women benefit from being able to incorporate flexibility into their work. We supply them with the most delicious hand-dyed merino wool that is also made in Lima- it is so soft, many of our customers confuse it with cashmere.

You can feel pretty good about your hat, because with your purchase you help support our Give-A-Sh*t program. We donate Give-A-Sh*t Knit Kits to young adults undergoing cancer treatment all over the country. We've most notably partnered with Dana Farber's Young Adult Program here in Boston and are working to expand the program!  We are also partnered with Lurie Cancer Center, Memorial Sloane Kettering, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital-Stanford, University of Calgary Department of Oncology, and AYA at USC Norris.
