Laird Beanie in Heather
We all find ourselves needing about three kinds of winter hats each year. We need our neutral that goes with everything, we need our perfect knit beanie with just the right amount of slouch to fit both ourselves and our hair, and we need something a little unique to keep ourselves from looking like everyone else—but what if you could have all of those hats in one? We introduce you to the Laird Beanie, our hottest sh*t around! It’s sweet, simple, but unique stitch is the perfect neutral and flair everyone spends ages trying to find each fall/winter, and the slouch you’ll find in its structure will provide the perfect fit for any hair type! As if it couldn’t get any better, each of our beanies come with a default fom-fom, which is detachable and available for additional purchase in a variety of colors so that you can keep your knit sh*t looking unique and all your own!

THE STORY BEHIND THIS SH*T:
Our original and unique hats are designed individually by our CKO (Chief Knitting Officer) and are then brought to life by a group of talented women in Lima, Peru. Many of these women are amazing mothers who can WFH (work from home) while taking care of their children. Since knitting is a mobile activity which can be done just about anywhere, these women benefit from being able to incorporate flexibility into their work. We supply them with the most delicious hand-dyed merino wool that is also made in Lima- it is so soft, many of our customers confuse it with cashmere.
You can feel pretty good about your hat, because with your purchase you help support our Give-A-Sh*t program. We donate Give-A-Sh*t Knit Kits to young adults undergoing cancer treatment all over the country. We've most notably partnered with Dana Farber's Young Adult Program here in Boston and are working to expand the program! We are also partnered with Lurie Cancer Center, Memorial Sloane Kettering, Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital-Stanford, University of Calgary Department of Oncology, and AYA at USC Norris.
