Cryptocurrency ticket scams review // Passcode Cyber Recovery
My name is Dylan Owen. I work with a retailer company. In early summer I purchased two VIP passes to a highly anticipated championship game. The seller insisted on payment in Ethereum, claiming it was a secure and fast method for high-value transactions. After some hesitation, I agreed, transferring approximately $6,600 worth of Ethereum directly to their provided wallet address. I received what appeared to be legitimate electronic tickets, complete with seating information and barcodes. When the day of the game arrived, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Upon presenting my tickets at the entrance, the scanning system rejected them as invalid. Multiple venue staff confirmed they were counterfeit, and the seller’s contact information had already gone dark. I realized I had been scammed. Feeling helpless I began researching options for cryptocurrency fraud recovery and discovered Passcode Cyber Recovery. They specialized in tracing stolen digital assets through blockchain analysis and working with exchanges to recover lost funds. I reached out, providing them with every piece of information I had: the Ethereum transaction hash screenshots of my communication with the seller, and copies of the fake tickets. Within hours, Passcode Cyber Recovery confirmed that my payment could be traced through the Ethereum blockchain. They explained that although blockchain transactions are irreversible, stolen funds often pass through centralized exchanges where regulatory compliance can force the return of assets if they’re identified quickly enough. They assured me they would act immediately. Over the next three weeks, passcode Cyber Recovery kept me updated with detailed progress reports. They tracked the stolen Ethereum through several intermediary wallets, eventually identifying it as having been deposited into an account at a known cryptocurrency exchange. Acting on my behalf they coordinated with the exchange’s fraud and compliance teams, providing evidence of the theft and linking it to my original payment. To my relief the exchange froze the account containing the stolen funds. After verifying the legitimacy of my claim, they initiated the return process. In less than three weeks from my initial contact with Passcode Cyber Recovery the full $6,600 worth of Ethereum was transferred back to my wallet.
