Clean Beauty Products We Love

Christina: Prior to making the switch to clean skincare products, I never believed in “natural” mascara. I assumed it would rub off after 30 minutes of wear, and let’s be honest - I was right!! But then I discovered Ilia and was proven wrong. I’ve been wearing the Limitless Lash Mascara for years and love it. They just released the new volumizing version and I picked it up last week. It’s incredible! The same formula, just a new brush. Highly recommended!!!     

Claudia: My favorite product would be the Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40!! It’s super lightweight so it adds just a little bit of coverage over your skin. It also has this lovely shine to it so it adds just a fresh dewyness to your face. Plus, the SPF 40 is great so you can keep your skin nice and safe. If you’re in the market for a new foundation with just a little coverage, try this out!! 

Tory: I have been wearing this Miracle Balm by Jones Road all summer long. My mom turned me on to Bobbi Brown’s latest makeup line earlier this summer, and this is by far my fave product. I love the bronze shade - I wear it almost every day and it adds just the right amount of color and glow to my cheeks and skin. And the best part is you don’t even need a brush to apply it - Bobbi’s tutorials show you how to apply it using just your fingers.

Shams: My top pick for clean beauty products is basically anything by The Ordinary. Their The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 serum is comfortable on the skin, rated highly on the clean scale, and is inexpensive only because they don’t use any unnecessary ingredients. It’s straight up skincare and you see results right away! Another clean brand that I’ve been loving is Cocokind, their packaging is really cute and so are their ingredients! 

Sarah: I love anything Supergoop, but my go-to everyday sunscreen in the summer is their Unseen Sunscreen. Whether I’m putting it on under make-up to sit inside at work all day or gearing up for a day in the sun, I barely even feel it and it always keeps me protected. I love Supergoop’s branding and that their array of products is meant to make sun protection more appealing for everyday. The best part is that they are reef-safe, cruelty free, and use only clean ingredients so you can feel good about putting it on your skin everyday. 

Meg: My top clean beauty product is Thrive Causemetics Liquid Lash Extensions Mascara. A few years ago I received so many sponsored ads for this product, and I was officially convinced to try it! I don’t have long lashes at all, but this mascara really does make it look like I’m wearing lash extensions. It stays on all day and washes off flawlessly - it actually has an innovative tubing formula that slides right off your lashes with warm water and a washcloth - no more racoon eyes!
