It’s been what feels like 847 years since our last TV blog (it’s really only been 1.5 weeks) so it probably a good time to dive back in with some more recs for all of you. I’m very excited about this TV blog theme. I think we can all agree that there is nothing better than a good laugh - it’s really what we all need right now. We’re all stressed, we’re all anxious, we’re all weirdly tired from binge eating salt & vinegar chips. It’s time to brighten things up with a good chuckle.
The best thing about this list is that it holds up outside of a social distancing/quarantine lifestyle. So when things go back to normal, and we’re set free from our homes, and you make the choice to cancel your social plans to instead hole up and binge watch a TV show, this list will be here waiting for you.

A sillier show for when you really need to turn your brain off

Best time to watch: In the afternoon of any day with some wine and cheese
Schitt’s Creek
The writing and timing of every joke is literally perfect

Best time to watch: All day Sunday
Arrested Development
An all time classic
Laugh score: 6 out of 10
Best time to watch: Around 3am when you either can’t sleep or you’re breastfeeding your newborn baby (yes - I did this)
Curb Your Enthusiasm
If you’re feeling spicy and judgy, this will make your day
Laugh score: 8 out of 10
Best time to watch: When you think your husband might be sick of seeing you all day every day and you want him to think your cool again
I’m Sorry
A series of incredibly awkward mom that are hilarious and cringeworthy

Best time to watch: NOT with your parents, grandparents or children
John Mulaney Kid Gorgeous Stand Up
Literally laugh out loud funny
Laugh score: 10 out of 10
Best time to watch: Once a day. The jokes don’t get old and you’ll forget everything going on in the world right now
