The Loungewear You Need Right Now

The Loungewear You Need Right Now

If you weren’t a fan of loungewear before March of this year, then you probably are now. Thanks to WFH life, it became very acceptable to ditch the jeans and blouse and fully embrace the sweatshirt and yoga pants vibe. I’ve been a loungewear lover for as long as I can remember (big, baggy groufits and bloufits used to be my speciality back in the day), so wearing some combination of this outfit on repeat made me quite happy. Luckily, there are a TON of loungewear options out there these days, so you can still look cute while wearing those sweatsuits. I will 100% be cozying up in some lounge looks this fall (with my Bliss Headband of course) - take a peek at what I’m eying right now!

The Upside - I can’t stop thinking about this turtleneck sweater and pant set from The Upside. The grey knit fabric looks so soft and luxurious and the addition of the turtleneck and wide leg silhouette makes this set feel more fashionable than most. I could definitely rock this outside on my daily dog walks (nothing worse than getting caught in your PJs by your neighbors), and feel put together enough for Zoom calls. Any loungewear set that can take you seamlessly from inside to outside is the ultimate win in my book.

PJ Salvage - This Animal Print Thermal PJ set from PJ Salvage is insanely cute. I have to give my mom full credit for this find - she owns these PJs and I immediately went to find it online as soon as I saw her in it (is it acceptable to match your mom these days?). The thermal fabric is light, so it’s perfect for sleeping but can also double as loungewear during the day.

Re Ona - How stylish are these joggers from Re Ona?! I’m obsessed with the pale purple color, and the fit looks on point (high waisted, hidden drawstring, big pockets - yes please!). Making thicker fleece material look attractive is not an easy feat, but Re Ona nails it!

Pangaia - This sweatshirt and matching shorts from Pangaia have been on my wishlist for awhile.I don’t own any sweatshirt-like shorts and these look so easy and comfy to throw on. Also, this brand is super cool - they combine technology with sustainability, creating not only material but also trims, labels, threads, zippers, and packaging that are 100% natural and responsibly sourced. This is a purchase you can feel good about!

Splits59 - I’m partial to Splits59 as a brand mainly because I I love their signature stripe and their leggings and sports bras pass the squat and sweat test. For loungewear though, I’d go with their lightweight Rib Pullover and high waist Bike Shorts. Throw this on for your at-home yoga or pilates session and then move right into your workday.

Do you have a favorite loungewear brand? Let us know in the comments!

XO,
Tessa
