The Summer Skincare Rescue Products You Need Right Now

On summer beach days, sunscreen all day is a must. But, I do get worried it’ll make me break out if I keep it on longer than necessary, which is why I love heavy duty bath products to get the excess sunscreen off. I love a good beauty routine, and below are some of my favorite summer shower skincare products to make you feel fresh, clean, and sunscreen free. 

I love a dry brush before the shower. It lifts up any dirt or dead skin before you even step into the shower, no water required. Goop makes a fabulous one and leaves your skin feeling very soft. 

Goop’s Himalayan Salt Scalp Scrub Shampoo is one of my favorite products. It has a really cool texture, but it's also very foamy at the same time. It's also the best smell. Ever. 

The Fantastic Face Wash from Ursa Major is actually just that. It gives you a really good cleanse and even has some AHA exfoliation without being too harsh. 

Body Hero Daily Oil Wash from Glossier is oil-based so it's very hydrating as far as body washes go. It also claims to be “a magnet” for dirt and grime, which makes it a real winner!

This Salicylic Acid 2% Masque from The Ordinary is a great one to help with any uneven skin tone or acne-prone skin. It’s infused with charcoal which also helps with smooth skin texture. 

The Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion from Beauty Counter is the lightest lotion ever. It makes your skin feel incredibly soft and lasts for up 24 hours. 

To cap it all off, Eu’Genia Shea makes the most incredible shea butter. The Dermatological Strength Shea Butter is best for very dry skin. Plus a little goes a long way and it will last you for months.
