5 Baby Products Campbell and Christina are Loving Right Now

Disclaimer: I am by no means a mom-blogger or a mom expert. Full disclosure, I do not have it all figured out. Campbell still has not slept through the night and her schedule can be wacky sometimes, but I think our motto is that we’re doing our best and having fun.

The Lovevery Play Gym + subscription toy set: I think this might be the best baby thing we own. Almost without fail, every time I put Campbell down on this, she has a good time. Whether it’s for tummy time or “unstructured play” she has a ball on the mat. It’s really helpful to have somewhere to plop her for a few minutes while I write an email or get dinner started. Plus, we’re signed up for the subscription program, so every two months we get a package in the mail with age-appropriate toys for her developmental stage. She has loved all of the books, mobiles, and rattles that have arrived thus far!

Magnetic Me Jammies: I always reach for the Magnetic Me onesies at bedtime. Not only are the snaps magnetic, but the fabric is sooo soft. Campbell looks so cute in her milk and cookies themed jammies!

Blooming Bath: This makes bathtime SO easy - much easier than the whole rig that you have to fill up, lean over, and inevitably spill everywhere. We have one of these sink inserts that I throw down each night for a quick bath. This way we can use the sprayer to get the shampoo out and have really minimal bathtime cleanup.

Baby Merlin’s Magic Sleep Suit: It was time for us to transition Campbell out of the swaddle for two reasons: 1) she’s v into rolling over and 2) she was born with hip dysplasia - which makes swaddling not ideal for her little hips. It took a minute to get used to the sleep suit but now it is an ultimate go-to. She sleeps in it at night and we also put her in it for naptime. I think now it signifies “sleepy time,” so I can pretty much put her in it, turn on the baby shusher** and she’s out like a light!

**Complaint about the Baby Shusher: Why does it turn off!?!? The second it turns off, she is awake. I’m on the hunt for a new noise machine that will lull her to sleep, but for now, the shusher is pretty good.

Dagne Dover Diaper Bag: I’m not sure if I’ve already written about this, but I love it so much it deserves the extra love. I obviously don’t have experience with other diaper bags, but this one is worth the $$. It has every bell and whistle you need - lots of pockets, a matching changing pad, little bags to put pacifiers in, a neoprene bottle holder… you name it. It also has these cool extra straps and hooks so you can easily hook it on your stroller. Another important feature is that it fits my things too, like my laptop and wallet very neatly. On top of it all, it isn’t embarrassing to carry. I think sometimes diaper bags are too… diaper-y. Like I don’t need it to be paisley and smell like baby powder. My husband even carries it without complaint!! (Although it should be said that even if it was paisley and reeked of baby powder, he would still carry it without complaint!)

XO,
Christina

The Marpac white noise machine is amazing. We’ve had one for five years and it’s still going strong. We have a Hatch at the grandparents which we also love.

We use the Hatch sound machine at home and the Marpac Hushh portable sound machine on the go!

Great recommendations! For the white noise machine: people looooove the Hatch. It can later be used as a sleep/wake time light for toddlers to know when they are allowed to get out of bed. I personally enjoy a true fan noise (not digital). I used the Marpac Dohm for years. I recently upgraded to the SNOOZ, and I couldn’t be happier.
