Activities to Do Before Summer is Over

The saddest part about summer is knowing how soon it’s going to end, but instead of worrying about that, we’re here to help you make the most of it! Here are some fun activities you have to do before the summer is over.

Get on a bike and ride around town with your loved ones- or by yourself.

There is nothing better than going around town on a bike. Whether you are by yourself or with friends, it’s a great way to explore your surroundings and get in your workout for the day (or week in my case).

Have a picnic in the park or your local beach.

Look, what better way to truly appreciate the summer than doing literally everything outside? Assemble yourself a charcuterie board, grab your favorite wine, put on a blanket, and you are all set.

Go on a hike.

Whether you choose a hard rail or a pretty easy one, there is no better feeling than that of hot summer rays on your skin while looking at everything bathing in sun.

Go to your local farms and pick fruits while they are still in season.

Apples, apricots, peaches, and every berry you can think of. Even the fruits taste better at the sight of the sunshine.

Host a wine tasting event outdoors, while you still can.

We know there’s only a few short months until you’re drinking your wine warmly inside, but for now, let’s take it out.

Host the most extravagant barbecue as an homage to summer.

The fruits and vegetables are in their prime time, why not make a killer barbecue that will get you through the bitter winter? Forget the burgers and hotdogs, here are a few recipes to inspire you.

Get yourself a signature STIK beanie in anticipation of the winter.

You and I both know how it feels to be hit in the face by the sudden winter. So make our own summer by wearing a STIK beanie and mittens, because they are all handmade, ethically sourced, crafted by women, and make it feel like summer even in the coldest of days.

It’s always helpful to read articles from other authors and practice a little something from their sites.
